Meevo’s First Release of 2026: Smarter Navigation & More Flexible Promotions
To kick the year off, we’re sitting down with Andrew Clarke, VP of Product Strategy at MSI, to talk about what stands out most in Meevo’s first release of 2026. From simplifying day-to-day navigation for multi-location operators to introducing thoughtful enhancements that support more nuanced business models, Andrew shares what excites him most—and a couple of hidden gems you won’t want to overlook!
Q: What’s your favorite enhancement in this release?
One of my favorite enhancements in this release is the improved ability to switch between locations directly from a location dropdown. For businesses operating multiple locations, this has been a long-standing friction point. Previously, users had to search for a business and then select a location from a list, which added unnecessary steps to a very common workflow.
Now, users who have access to multiple locations can quickly switch between them using a simple dropdown, showing only the locations they’re authorized to access. It’s a small change on the surface, but it makes navigating Meevo significantly faster and more intuitive for multi-location teams.
Q: How will businesses benefit from this enhancement?
This improvement is all about efficiency and ease of use. Multi-location operators—especially regional managers, owners, and support staff—often move between locations throughout the day. Reducing the number of clicks and screens required to do that saves time and helps teams stay focused on serving clients rather than navigating the system.
It also lowers the learning curve for staff who work across locations, making Meevo feel more seamless and connected as businesses scale.
Q: Is there a hidden gem in this release that you think all Meevo users should know about?
There are actually two.
The first is the ability to default the appointment book to the resource view. Some businesses primarily book appointments based on rooms, equipment, or other resources rather than by employee. With this enhancement, those businesses can now open the appointment book directly in the view that best matches how they operate, without needing to switch views each time. It’s a great example of Meevo adapting to different operational models.
The second hidden gem is an enhancement to referral point promotions. Businesses can now award referral points based on a specific category or even a specific service that was purchased. This gives businesses far more control over how they incentivize referrals, allowing them to align rewards with high-value services or strategic categories instead of applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
A Bright Year Ahead…
