Between social media and marketing strategies, bringing on new team members, and running new promotions, there is so much to manage and keep track of. Q1 (Winter)

New Year, new goals! Set goals for your business as a whole, as well as, for individual staff members to make sure that your business never stops growing and evolving. Re-evaluate what services, marketing promotions, and offers performed best in 2019 and decide if they’re worth capitalizing on again in 2020. Find the campaigns that fell short and talk with your team about what could have been missing. More minds are better than one!

Always be one step ahead. You should already be planning for your spring launches, like what products you’d like to carry, what holidays you’d like to promote, and how to attract new clients.

Q2 (Spring)

Take on Q2 with a spring in your step to promote prom, graduations, and more with ease by creating student and teacher marketing promotions. Bloom your relationships with local businesses and create power partnerships that benefit everyone. Consider hosting or co-sponsoring an event with one of your new local partners to rake in all of the benefits.

Make sure you’re getting the students into your salon or spa for their back to school looks to rock for their first day, picture day, Homecoming and more! Offer student discounts to attract new clients, and offer relief from the stress of midterm madness, and the stress of final exams with “bring a friend” offers.

It’s also time to ramp back up for the holidays and start planning again for 2021, which means it’s time to start creating gift baskets, stocking up on impulse retail, and promoting your best holiday specials. Look back on your year and see if you and your staff met all of your goals. Did you exceed expectations, did you fall short? Now is the time to assess.
