Meevo’s 2025 Product Recap: A Year of Innovation, Intelligence & Client-Centric Enhancements

As we close out 2025, we caught up with Andrew Clarke, VP of Product Strategy at Meevo, to reflect on a year shaped by thoughtful innovation. Every release reinforced our commitment to building a more powerful, intuitive platform—one that helps salons, spas, and med spas streamline operations, engage clients more meaningfully, and understand their business with greater clarity. 

Below is a high-level look at the enhancements delivered across all four quarters of 2025. 

 

 

Q1: Strengthening Core Workflows & Modernizing Client Documentation 

We kicked off the year by tightening up the workflows teams rely on every day—improving accuracy, efficiency, and clarity across the platform. 

 

Key Highlights 

  • Enhanced Visit Notes: Introduced advanced annotation tools, including pins, adjustable line thickness, and improved image handling—giving providers more precise documentation capabilities. 
  • Improved Forms & Kiosk Workflows: Updates to form behavior, signature tags, and kiosk flows created smoother, more reliable client intake experiences. 
  • Usability Enhancements Across Booking & Daily Tasks: Clearer on-screen messaging, improved field validation, and streamlined flows helped staff complete tasks with fewer steps and fewer errors. 

 

Q1 was all about strengthening the day-to-day essentials and setting a solid foundation for everything that followed. 

 

 

Q2: Driving Operational Efficiency, Client Engagement & Business Insight 

In Q2, we delivered updates that helped teams automate more work, create stronger client experiences, and surface insights leaders can actually use. 

 

Key Highlights 

  • Modernized eGift Experience: A redesigned purchasing workflow with updated templates and clearer purchase logic helped businesses promote eGifts more effectively. 
  • AI-Generated Content: Introduced tools that help businesses quickly generate polished descriptions and profiles while maintaining a consistent brand voice. 
  • Zapier Integration (Beta): Enabled no-code automation by connecting Meevo with thousands of apps for tasks like syncing new clients, sending alerts, and populating marketing tools. 
  • MeGo Enhancements: Clients gained the ability to update personal info and view purchase history, improving transparency and self-service capabilities. 
  • Real-Time Provider Notifications: Instant alerts for check-ins and running-late updates improved coordination and responsiveness. 
  • Membership Conversion Reporting: New reports highlighted employee performance and membership signup trends, helping operators identify which strategies are working. 
  • Med Spa Documentation Enhancements: Added multi-image support and improved annotation logic to support consistent, repeatable treatment notes. 

 

Q2 struck a balance between efficiency and engagement—helping businesses do more with less while delivering a more connected client journey. 

 

 

Q3: Expanding Marketing Capabilities, Communication Tools & Client Transparency 

Q3 focused on helping businesses reach more clients, communicate smarter, and bring more clarity to the membership experience. 

 

Key Highlights 

  • SMS Marketing in Emma: Businesses can now use Emma to send targeted promotional text messages alongside emails, creating unified, multi-channel campaigns. 
  • AI-Powered Marketing Tools: Introduced Smart Segment and Smart Send—features that reduce guesswork by helping target the right audience and recommend optimal send times based on past campaign performance. 
  • Online Presence Management Enhancements: New publishers, improved review insights, sentiment analysis, and better social scheduling helped businesses strengthen visibility across the web. 
  • My Membership Client View: Clients gained a clear, centralized view of membership status, auto-renew details, and—when enabled—the ability to request cancellations online. 
  • 2-Way SMS (Beta): Launched messaging through Meevo Messenger, allowing staff to communicate directly with clients through the business’s landline number. 
  • Client-Facing Site Improvements: Continued alignment across Online Booking, eGift, and Online Membership Sales ensured more consistent, intuitive experiences on any device. 

 

Q3 brought smarter marketing tools and deeper communication capabilities—supporting stronger client relationships and better-informed decisions. 

 

 

Q4: Advancing Multi-Location Intelligence, Strengthening Financial Workflows & Expanding the Ecosystem 

We closed the year with major progress in analytics, financial reliability, and integrations—supporting scalability and expanding what Meevo can do across the business. 

 

Key Highlights 

  • Interactive Multi-Location Reporting: New data-warehouse powered reports for sales, membership churn, employee performance, rebooking behavior, and payroll provided operators with clearer visibility across all locations. 
  • Enhanced Data Exports: Added new fields and improved structure across sales, appointments, client activity, and employee scheduling exports to support downstream tools and analysis. 
  • MeevoPay Improvements: Infrastructure upgrades, clearer authorization handling, and CVV re-entry for online card-on-file payments improved reliability and strengthened chargeback protection. 
  • Integration Growth: Added or expanded integrations with partners including SalonInteractive (Purchase Order beta), Aveda (Online Booking), BookingBee, Edge, mya, and MyAdvice—extending Meevo’s functionality across operations, marketing, and automation. 
  • Workflow Refinements: Updates across forms, mobile apps, scheduling tools, and financial operations polished everyday usability and improved consistency for teams. 

 

Q4 was a strong finish—delivering the tools businesses need for stability, scale, and a more connected ecosystem.
