Meevo Product Update: Advancing Med Spa Image Galleries & Streamlining Inventory Management 

 

For Meevo’s seventh release of 2025, we caught up with Andrew Clarke, VP of Product Strategy at MSI, to get his perspective on the most exciting updates. Here’s what stood out to him, how businesses will benefit, and even a hidden gem you might not want to miss. 

 

Q: What’s your favorite enhancement in this release? 

The upgrade we’ve made to the client image gallery in  MeevoMD—our subscription designed specifically for med spas— really stands out for me. Before-and-after photos have always been an important tool for providers, but now we’ve taken that capability further. We’ve added interactive comparison tools that let you slide between two images or use an overlay effect that gradually transitions from the before image to the after image. This is particularly helpful because it gives med spas a polished, professional way to showcase client progress and treatment results. 

 

We’ve also introduced new flexibility for multi-location operators. With a simple setting, client images can now be accessed across locations, so no matter where a client is seen, their photo history is available when you need it. 

 

Q: How will businesses benefit from this feature? 

These enhancements bring a more visual and engaging element to consultations. Med spas can highlight treatment results in a way that feels modern and compelling, helping clients clearly see the value of their services. It also adds a level of professionalism that strengthens trust during consultations. And for businesses with multiple locations, having images accessible across sites means providers no longer need to switch between locations in Meevo just to pull up a client’s photo history. That saves time, reduces friction, and ensures teams always have the full picture when working with a client. 

 

Q: Is there a hidden gem in this release that you think all Meevo users should know about? 

One that deserves the spotlight is our expanded purchase order integration with SalonInteractive. Instead of juggling multiple ordering systems, businesses can now create and submit POs to major distributors directly through Meevo, including SalonCentric, one of the largest in the industry. This streamlines inventory management by allowing staff to place and track orders more efficiently, reducing errors and freeing up time to focus on clients. 

 

We began by integrating with Aveda’s Empowered Ordering solution, and now we’ve extended that convenience to a broader network of distributors such as Premier Beauty, Evolve, Salon Services and Supplies, TruBeauty, Sweis Inc, and EVOLVh. For salons and spas, this means shelves stay stocked with less effort and day-to-day operations run smoother.
