Can you believe December is upon us? We hope all of the industry professionals we serve can enjoy the holiday season and catch a breath before entering 2024 with full momentum. It’s been a fantastic year for the Meevo team and we’re excited to close it out with some amazing enhancements that will continue to elevate your business. Find out what’s new with Meevo in our Q&A interview with Andrew Clarke, VP of Product Marketing.
1. What is your favorite enhancement in this release?
With the holidays and new year approaching, the product development team wanted to improve Meevo’s marketing capabilities. With that being said, my favorite enhancement in our holiday release is the marketing improvements we made with the nightly sync of information to Emma, our email marketing integration, and the Client Selection Export.
2. How will clients benefit from this feature?
Businesses can now market to their clients based on which membership they have, or send them a notification reminder of an upcoming membership expiration or renewal date. We’ve also added several ways to create a segmented list of clients based on whether or not they’re due to make a product purchase.
We’ve also improved the ability to segment clients based on the purchase of, or usage of, items that have been marked as inactive. For example, you can now create a segmented list of clients that had previously used a now inactive, predefined discount. The date range capability has also been increased from one year to two years for several of the client selection export options, such as an ability to segment a list of clients that had a last visit within the past 2 years.
3. What ‘hidden gem’ should all Meevo users know about?
The ‘hidden gem’ in this release is the changes that we made to ‘Visit Notes’. MedpSpas and similar business models often require approval (sometimes from a doctor) for visit notes that are entered after a service is performed. If your business uses this type of workflow, then this enhancement is for YOU!
You are now able to designate the Visit Note Type as ‘needing approval’. This means that someone with appropriate security access or permissions will need to review and approve the Visit Note. We’ve also increased the number of characters you can enter into a visit note to alleviate any frustrations of not being able to document proper details for the visit.
